Fill the pump packing: The packing process is crucial before connecting the pump. Make sure this step is completed before using the pump.

Check for airtightness: Since the pump needs to build pressure, check its airtightness. The airtightness of the pump affects its normal operation.

Install a check valve: We recommend installing a check valve at the inlet. This is essential for maintaining the airtightness needed for optimal pump performance. If you haven’t installed a check valve yet, we strongly suggest doing so to prevent air from entering the system, which can impact pressure and efficiency.

This may be related to the motor. Therefore, we need you to provide the voltage used and the pumping conditions. We recommend that you record a video showing the installation scene and the operating status, and send it to service@aquastrong.co.

The pump is preset at the factory with an activation pressure of 20 psi and a deactivation pressure of 40 psi. The pressure switch can only adjust the upper and lower pressure limits simultaneously; it cannot increase one limit while decreasing the other.

To adjust the pressure range, rotate the larger nut clockwise for one full turn, which will increase both the upper and lower pressure limits by approximately 3 psi. For example, rotating one full turn clockwise will raise the pressure from the original 20-40 psi to 23-43 psi. Conversely, rotating counterclockwise will lower the pressure by 3 psi. You can adjust the pressure limits as needed.

Although the smaller nut can also fine-tune the pressure limits, adjusting it may cause the entire pressure switch to malfunction. Therefore, we generally do not recommend adjusting the smaller nut.

To accurately determine the cause of the issue and assist you effectively, please provide the following information:

1. To speed up the assessment, could you let us know how long the pump has been running? Did it overheat during operation?
2. Have you used an extension cord? If yes, could you specify the specifications of the extension cord used?
3. If possible, could you test and provide the voltage at the plug connecting the pump?

The valve is used to add or release air to maintain the pressure tank at 1.6 bar.

1. To prevent blockages caused by debris, could you try cleaning any debris?
2. Can you try running the pump without connecting the hose to see if it works properly?
3. Plug in the power, place the pump in water to start, then take it out of the water for two minutes, and turn it off. Place it back in the water and check if it works properly.

1.The pump's float switch requires a vertical position to activate. To assist us in troubleshooting, could you please place the pump in a bucket filled with water and connect it to power while ensuring the float switch is in a vertical position? This would help us determine if the pump can activate under these conditions.

2.To help us better understand the issue, could you please provide us with a video showing the product malfunctioning?

The pump has a vent hole on the side, and during operation, a small amount of residual water may leak from the vent hole, which is a normal occurrence. Please do not worry. Rest assured, if any quality-related issues arise, we will take full responsibility for our product.

2. The adapter has a check valve, the hose may block the check valve and prevent water from passing through. So can you please try without the hose connected to see if it works?

3. Check whether the water level reaches the height of the automatic switch (The pump will automatically turn on when water has been detected at 2 ''. When the pump remove water to approximately 2/5 ", the pump will run for additional 60 seconds and then turn off .)

4. Plug in the power first, put the water pump into the water to start, then take the water pump out of the water for two minutes and then turn it off. Put it back in the water to see if it works.

2.To facilitate smooth venting when the hose is connected, could you try drilling a 3-5mm hole in the rubber inside the check valve?

In snowy and icy conditions, it's important to ensure that the interior of the pump does not freeze.
To ensure the pump operates properly, we do not recommend using it when the water is frozen.

It's normal for some water to remain inside the pump after use. This residual water typically does not impact the pump's lifespan or its performance in future uses. However, if you prefer to remove this water before storage, you may try gently shaking the pump to dislodge any excess water and then allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area.
